The Water Department is pleased to announce that it completed its 2021 spring flushing program on Thursday.
The water system undergoes flushing twice a year to help ensure sustained water quality and clarity and support the longevity of the system’s infrastructure.
“Thank you to the residents of Georgetown for your patience,” Utility Director Marlene Ladderbush. “We understand that discolored or cloudy water can be an inconvenience, but flushing the system is essential to maintain the highest quality drinking water into the future.”
