GEORGETOWN — Utility director Marlene Ladderbush reports that the Georgetown Water Department is working to conduct emergency water main repairs, resulting in a temporary service interruption for some customers.
The Georgetown Water Department is conducting emergency repair work on a water main on Spofford Street this morning, resulting in an disruption to service for customers in the area of Andover Street and Hardy Terrace. The service disruption is likely to last no fewer than four hours.
A temporary traffic detour will be in effect while this work is ongoing, and motorists are strongly urged to avoid the area.
